I know I sound like a broken record when I say this, but I apologize for the lack of recent updates and general support on the Jigglyrooms from myself. I've been working like mad for a while now and between my job, GF, family, and dozens of neglected issues like my late taxes and my herniated disc/general health concerns, I haven't been able to effectively keep tabs on the server. Anyways, during my week of doing absolutely nothing, I'm going to press for the move to the new network. Unfortunately, complications arose from the huge delay in the move (like the host saying they physically don't have rackspace now) so we'll have to work those issues out first. Also, Nherdboi brought the following piece of news to my attention:
This is big news IMO. The cell-shaded cartoony look of TF2 gives hope in that methinks Valve isn't set on making a super realistic BF2 knockoff anymore. The screenshot tells me they're going for the unrealistic feel that made TFC so unrealistically fun yet delightfully chaotic. Damnit. This means I'm going to have to start looking into major server updates.
Mmm... vacation. Vacation is never overrated.

-The latency on the 32 player TFC and NS servers has improved.. I don't know why though. Routing changes methinks.
-I still haven't moved over to the new network - for the same reason I haven't been play NS/TFC: No time. These 11/12 hour workdays are rough.
-Welcome TheHornet to the admin family! He's been selected for the unfortunate task of babysitting you all :)
-I need a vacation. Seriously.
I might miss the E3 this year.. With all this work, registration slipped my mind :(

As you might have already guessed, the site has been down for a little over a day. The reason for this was because a routine server chassis migration ended up turning into a huge nightmare and only now have I been able to stabilize the box. The tale begins with PCI riser cards with voltage disagreements then ends in a overheating hell. It's hopefully all past us now and if the box stays up without incident for a week or so, we can finally migrate off this crappy network.
P.S. DEATH TO OLDRO!
P.S. Did I mention this network sucks?
